Right then, that is all we have from the game. West Indies Legends have won this game comfortably against the England Legends. Our build-up though begins much earlier, so do join us for the same. Till then, goodbye and cheers!

Adds that he really thinks it was going on well for him and would've liked to end it on his own. Mentions they have a good unit and think all the players are ready for the competition.
Brian Lara, the skipper of West Indies Legends says that it is great to be back. Adds that he hasn't played cricket in a while but all the other guys have played well and he is happy with the result. Stay tuned for presentations ...
Earlier, England Legends started off slow and they were 78/3 in 13 overs. Rikki Clarke played a good knock and made the England Legends reach to a par total of 156. West Indies bowlers were good with the ball but they couldn't manage to get Rikki Clarke. Had they got him, they would have managed to bundle England Legends inside 130. Later, West Indies Legends got over the line with ease.
It was an absolutely abysmal performance from the England Legends bowlers. Honestly, they never looked in a position of winning this game after Powerplay. Their fielding looked effortless as well and they also dropped Perkins once in the game. Rikki Clarke was a stand-out for them with the bat and the ball as well. He got the only two wickets that the West Indies Legends lost. They need to come out with better execution in the next game and especially focus on their bowling.
What a performance this has been from the West Indies Legends openers. Have to say that, be it their national team or the legends, West Indies have the same aggressive strategy when it comes to their batting. They started off with a flyer and had 72 runs on board inside the Powerplay. William Perkins and Dwayne Smith batted exquisitely and they looked unstoppable, but the crowd seemed to be more happier to watch the Legend, Brian Lara play as he finished the game with a maximum. Their bowlers did well too and managed to keep their opponents under 160. They would have done better but Rikki Clarke did well with the bat for England Legends. Krishmar Santokie and Sulieman Benn bagged two wickets each whilst Daren Powell took one for the West Indies Legends.
