That is it from this game then! There is another game going on between South Africa and Sri Lanka where South Africa are in cruise control for now. You can catch all the action from that game by switching tabs. Until next time, goodbye and take care!
Shakib Al Hasan says he is very happy, they did not start well but came back strongly. Adds they believed it was about one wicket and says he was happy with how they fielded and bowled. Mentions they have been training quite hard and adds he was happy with his bowlers, the pacers were also decent and he hopes they can keep doing well. Credits Najmul Hossain Shanto for the way he played.
Hashmatullah Shahidi says it all went wrong in the middle but Bangladesh bowled well. Adds they bowled well but they did not have enough on the board. States they are now looking forward for the England game.
Mehidy Hasan says he is very pleased with his performance. He feels it is just about concentrating and doing the basics right. States he looks to play the ball on its merit. Reckons the wicket was slow and he just looked to play with a straight bat. Ends by saying he likes batting in the top order and do well for his side.
Can't really blame the Afghanistan bowlers! They bowled quite decently. 156 was never going to be enough. They needed over 250, they were well on course for it at one stage but that collapse is what cost them the game.
Quite a convincing win for Bangladesh! To be honest, this was never in doubt after the collapse we saw in the first innings. In reply, Bangladesh batted really well. They lost two early but Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mehidy Hasan batted sensibly. The two added just below 100 before Mehidy Hasan fell. Shakib did not last for long too in the middle but Najmul Hossain Shanto stayed till the end and with a half ton, ensured his side get over the line.
