Daren Powell is the Player of the Match for his economical bowling spell of (3-1-4-0). He says the atmosphere was really great. Adds that they are feeling a bit sore due to long travel. Hopes that they put on a performance like this in other games. When asked how it feels to play in this tournament, he says it feels good to play in Windies' color but it is important to spread awareness about road safety. Shares he is pleased to be part of this series.
...Presentation coming up...
The bowlers had a tough task as there were not many runs to play with. They didn't have the best of starts as Smith took the charge and he alone took the game away. Bangladesh Legends struck in the middle phase but there was no such pressure that could result in the Windies' downfall. Earlier, Bangladesh Legends would have loved a better performance with the bat but West Indies were just too good for them. Krishmar Santokie finished with three wickets but it was a collective performance that helped them to bundle Bangladesh to such a low total.
A one-sided affair to be honest! Dwayne Smith's knock at the top and later, Kirk Edwards' fine innings were enough for West Indies Legends to get over the victory line. Dwayne Smith has shown with this innings that he has still got much criket left in him. A convincing victory for the Windies and they'll be really happy with the overall performance.
