Right then, that is it from this action-packed game. The Dhaka Dominators have managed to defend the third-lowest total in the history of the BPL and that too by a comfortable margin. Khulna Tigers will be upset with their performance and will look to bounce back in their next game. The action in the 6th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League continues on Friday 27th of January and we have a doubleheader in store. Rangpur Riders will take on Sylhet Strikers at 1.30 pm IST (8.00 am GMT) and Chattogram Challengers will take on the Fortune Barishal at 6.30 pm IST (1.00 pm GMT). Do join us a bit early for the build-up as well. Until then, goodbye and cheers!
Nasir Hossain the captain of Dhaka Dominators has a massive smile on his face. He says that he wants to give credit to his bowlers who were able to defend such a low total. Mentions that it was the bowlers who got the job done and he feels very happy with the win.
Taskin Ahmed is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for match figures of (3.3-0-9-4). He says that he is very happy and that it was a much-needed win for his team. Adds that he is happy with his contribution and he tried to stick to the basics and he got success. Ends by saying that they will look to put up the same performance in the next game.
Yasir Ali the skipper of Khulna Tigers says that their bowlers did a great job but the batters failed and lost wickets at regular intervals. Mentions that there was no contribution from the middle order and that cost them the game. Ends by saying that the new bowler Nahid Rana bowled really well but it was just not their day.
Time for the presentations...
Khulna Tigers would have been confident of sealing this win at the end of the first inning as their spin bowlers ruled the roost. Nahidul Islam bowled the most economical four-over spell in the history of the Bangladesh Premier League conceding just 6 runs and claiming four wickets as well. Nasum Ahmed was not far off with his effort as he claimed three wickets for 11 runs. Soumya Sarkar was the only batter who offered any fight for Dhaka Dominators as he got to his half-century but this has been a bowler's game as they proved in their defense.
Defending just 108 runs, Dhaka Dominators eventually won the game in dominating fashion as their bowlers put on quite a show. Taskin Ahmed got the early breakthrough and claimed a couple of wickets at the end to wrap up the innings. He was the pick of the bowlers claiming four wickets in total and conceding just 9 runs in 3.3 overs. Nasir Hossain continued his wicket-taking exploits and along with Al-Amin Hossain claimed two wickets each. Salman Irshad and Amir Hamza chipped in with a wicket each and all the bowlers found themselves in the wickets to complete a stunning performance.
The openers for Khulna Tigers got off to a watchful start as they looked to negotiate the new ball but were pegged back early when they lost Shai Hope for a low score. Tamim Iqbal looked to take the attack to the bowlers but was dismissed on 30 and Mahmudul Hasan Joy could not get going in this game as well. Yasir Ali looked to spend some time at the wicket along with Azam Khan. They were 58 for the loss of three wickets at the halfway stage of the inning but collapsed after they lost Azam Khan. They lost the last seven wickets for 26 runs in 33 deliveries with Yasir Ali the only other player reaching double figures.
What a low-scoring thriller we have witnessed! Dhaka Dominators have brought their six-match losing streak to a halt in remarkable fashion as they win by 24 runs courtesy of an outstanding bowling performance! They have won their second game in this campaign and have done a double over the Khulna Tigers. They would be hoping to play this opponent every week and will want to take this winning momentum into the business end of the competition. Khulna Tigers have been unable to make it three wins in a row and will need to look deep into their batting effort in this game.

OUT! TIMBER! Dhaka Dominators have won the game out of nowhere. Taskin Ahmed can't control his joy and he makes a sliding celebration. Touch fuller and it nips in a touch, Nahid Rana looks to play at it but gets beaten as the ball rattles over the off pole. The crowd here in Dhaka go all frenzy. Dhaka Dominators beat Khulna Tigers by 24 runs!

A yorker on off, Nahid Rana digs it towards the off side.
Strategic Time-Out! With just one wicket left and the number 10 and 11 batters out in the middle, there is not much the Khulna Tigers can plan out here. Dhaka Dominators are one wicket away from sealing a remarkable win after being well behind in this game for the most part. Nahid Rana joins Wahab Riaz out in the middle.

OUT! TAKEN! Amir Hamza with another catch and Khulna Tigers are down to their last wicket now. A brilliant decision from Nasir Hossain as he gets Taskin Ahmed into the attack at the very last moment. Taskin Ahmed bowls it shorter and on leg, Mohammad Saifuddin doesn't read it as he looks to block it, gets his glove as the ball lobs towards short mid-wicket. Amir Hamza runs towards it takes takes an excellent catch diving forward.
Wahab Riaz is the new batter out in the middle. Taskin Ahmed has been given the ball to bowl his last over. He has taken two wickets for nine runs in his three overs so far.

OUT! TAKEN! It is all happening here for the Dhaka Dominators. Shorter and on off, Nasum Ahmed looks to pull it but misses it completely, gets a top edge, and the ball lobs in the hands of Amir Hamza at mid-wicket. Khulna Tigers are now eight wickets down and in a spot of bother.

On a length and outside off, Nasum Ahmed looks to drive it but misses.

FOUR! Perfectly timed. Overpitched delivery, outside off, Nasum Ahmed stands tall and drives it through long off for a boundary! Much needed boundary for the Tigers.
