So, that is it from this game and this series! It is Mahmudullah's side who comes out on top, yes they did lose the final game but have won the series. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. If you have not had enough of cricket, you can switch tabs and catch all the action from the ongoing T20I between Sri Lanka and South Africa. Until next time, take care and goodbye!
Mahmudullah, the Bangladesh skipper, says that he would have liked to won the game but credits the opposition on how they played. Says that the bowlers did well but they did not finish well and gave away some runs. Adds that he and Afif tried to stitch a partnership but their opposition's bowlers did well. He hopes to go to the World Cup and win games there too.
Tom Latham and Nasum Ahmed will share the PLAYER OF THE SERIES AWARD!
Tom Latham, New Zealand skipper and MAN OF THE MATCH, says it is great to finish on a high. They took all the learnings from the last games and played well here. Adds the way Finn played at the start helped them take their own time in the middle and they finished it well at the back end. States it was good they could finish the leg on a high and they will hope they can take the momentum forward in the next tour. Ends by saying that tour is another opportunity for the young guys and they are looking forward to the series.
... TIME FOR THE PRESENTATION ...
Earlier in the day, after electing to bat, Allen got the Kiwis off to a flier. Bangladesh did crawl back into the game courtesy of a few wickets but Latham, with a half ton, helped his side finish strongly and took them to a score which was above par and defended it easily.
For Bangladesh, the problem was there was a minimal contribution from the top order. Early wickets just pushed them well behind in the game. Mahmudullah and Afif Hossain did bring back the belief but the task was an uphill one. Afif Hossain was brilliant. Had the top order played better, the story could have well been different.
Their batters did their job in the first half and the bowlers did not disappoint. They were really good in the Powerplay as they did not let the runs flow and also managed to get a wicket. After that, they kept squeezing which saw the pressure building on the Bangladesh batters which eventually resulted in wickets. There was a period in between where they were put under a little pressure but they kept their calm and ensured their side finish on top. All the bowlers had a wicket at least to their name and everybody had a good day at the office, however, one has to say, Ajaz Patel was the pick.
A really good win for the visitors! A convincing win and they end the series on a high! They have completely outplayed the hosts in both the departments in this final game.

OUT! TIMBER! Scott Kuggeleijn gets his second! A full ball, on middle. Taskin Ahmed clears his front leg and looks to heave it on the leg side but fails to get any bat on it. The ball sneaks through and disturbs the stumps behind.
