She scored three sixes and took on Deepti Sharma to make things interesting but Sharma had the last laugh and eventually it was all over. Bengaluru will feel if someone from the top had played the anchor role, things would have been different.

It was a must win for Bengaluru but apart from the toss all went against the plan. They opted to bowl first but Smriti Mandhana had no clue what was waiting for her team.
