Right then! Delhi Bulls won both their games today and will face Samp Army in Qualifier 2 on 2nd December 2024. The winner of this match will go on to play Deccan in the Final of Abu Dhabi T10 2024. The Qualifier 1 will start at 6.30 pm IST (1 pm GMT) and the Final will start at 9 pm IST (3.30 pm GMT). Rovman Powell, the winning captain, says that his team's performance was too good in this match and he is proud of themselves. Defending a hefty total, the Bulls' bowlers ensured they had plenty of runs to work with. Fazalhaq Farooqi set the tone in the very first over, dismissing the dangerous Phil Salt to leave Team Abu Dhabi on the back foot. Kyle Mayers and Jonny Bairstow attempted to rebuild with a promising partnership, but Salman Irshad broke through, removing Mayers for 22. Despite Bairstow's efforts alongside Lues du Plooy - scoring 35 runs off just 16 balls together, the pressure of chasing such a steep target was too much to handle.
The Delhi Bulls delivered a commanding performance to secure their second win of the day, defeating Team Abu Dhabi by a significant margin of 42 runs. This victory propels the Bulls one step closer to the finals, as they now prepare to face Morrisville Samp Army in Qualifier 2.
