Commentry
That's the end of the game! There was absolutely no time left and we saw the players and the umpires shaking hands. We can call the Superchargers a little lucky as we feel, they would have ended up on the losing side here. That's the exact reason Tom Abell desperately wanted to get on. Points shared though. Credit to the ground staff too as they tried their level best to get a game in. Hopefully, we will have a full one in the next which is between Oval Invincibles and Southern Brave. That will begin shortly. Till then, goodbye and take care.
Well, they are off again! That should probably be the game as the rain is coming down quite heavy now. Bairstow is not happy as he walks off but the Superchargers won't really mind. No official word yet but we believe that should be the end of the game.

Can't bowl extras when defending a small score. Short and down the leg side. Wided.
We are back with the chase. A bit of drizzle going around and Ben Stokes doing every possible thing by signaling some issue with the spikes of those shoes of his to delay the start in expectation of a rain-stoppage. The umpires have a chat but signals to continue despite the drizzle and Stokes looks a bit perplexed. The players of Northern Superchargers stride out to the field followed by the openers of Welsh Fire. Jonny Bairstow is alongside Luke Wells to open for Welsh Fire. Ben Stokes is going to open the attack with the ball for Northern Superchargers.
... The Run Chase ...
Welsh were brilliant! They bowled the right bowlers and are in a very strong position in this game. Sensible batting is all they need to chase this down. The wicket is not the easiest but the score is not a lot. They will back themselves to chase this down. Superchargers will have to be brilliant with the ball if they are to defend it. Join us for the chase in a bit.
It was a real struggle then for the Superchargers and they have finished with a very low score. They lost five wickets in the 25 balls they faced and that speaks volumes about how poor they were with the bat.

LEG BYE! Short-pitched, angling into the batter, pace off again. Ollie Robinson swings for the pull but gets beaten to the slow pace, gets a whack on the shoulder and runs one. Leg bye signaled.

Back of a length, following the batter to his leg. Pace off this time. Ollie Robinson looks to get it away but fails to get bat on ball.

SIX! Short and wide outside off, Ollie Robinson walks to his leg and lofts this up and over the sweeper cover region for the first biggie of the game.

.
Fuller one, just wide of the leg stump. Ollie Robinson looks to scoop it again but doesn't get any part of his bat of pad behind this. The ball isn't called wide as the batter moved a long way and the ball wasn't far from the stump.
