HUR vs SIX Pitch Report

As we all know this is the first game of the season on a fresh pitch, you can expect it to be hard and bouncy which means the ball should come on to the bat nicely making it easier to bat. Moreover, with dew settling it, bowling might get even more difficult in the second inning but there is no certainty over whether it will fall or not.

Hobart Hurricanes Team News

Hobart Hurricanes will miss some of their main players and even their captain Matthew Wade who is handling his Australia A duties. In his absence, D’Arcy Short might lead the lead although there is no confirmation to it yet. They will also be missing some of the big players like Dawid Malan, Keemo Paul and Sandeep Lamichhane. The first two will only be available after Christmas while Sandeep will join the side in the first week of 2021.

In their absence, Johan Botha becomes the center of attraction. He was coaching this side till last year but he has come out of retirement to solve Hurricanes spin bowling problems. He will obviously be in the playing 11 as well. Colin Ingram and James Faulkner will be the two key players to watch out for from this team. Ingram will only play first four matches so he’d like to make it count.

Sydney Sixers Team News

Much like their opponents, Sydney Sixers too will be missing out on some of the key players including the captain Moises Henriques himself who is in the Australia A side for the tour game. Jackson Bird and Sean Abbott are also part of the Australia A team so they too won’t be available for Sixers first game. Defending champion also don’t have Tom Curran in this season. He was instrumental in their success last year.

In the absence of Henriques, Dan Christian or Daniel Hughes might lead the side. Opener Josh Philippe would like to repeat his previous season heroics which had earned him an IPL selection for RCB as well.

HUR vs SIX Fantasy Cricket Tips

The fantasy players also need to be careful of the new rules of BBL according to which any batsman can be substituted by a batsman who is not a part of playing 11. Same goes for the bowlers too.
