Babar Azam says they were happy with the score they got, they batted well but could have looked for 210-220. Adds this was a complete performance and even the bowlers were outstanding, they executed the plans and the fielding was superb too. The problem for Quetta was yet again the middle order. It failed big time again. A sorry scorecard chasing a big total. Just the one batter managed to cross 20 and that doesn’t help when chasing a big total while the others got off to a start but perished one after the other. Earlier, it was once again Babar Azam for Zalmi. His fifty and cameos from Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Rovman Powell turned out to be enough while Akeal Hosein's hat trick went in vain.
That’s a massive win for Peshawar and they are through to the next round. That innings from Powell at the end was very crucial and close to 200 was always going to be tough. Quetta though got off to a good start. Once they lost Shakeel, it all fell apart. They kept losing wickets. The middle order failed big time. The bowling effort was a combined one from Zalmi. All their bowlers got a wicket at least.
