That is it then! Time for the match between Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators. Join us on the 22nd of this month at 7.30 pm IST (2 pm GMT). Join us for the build up early on. Cheers!
Mohammad Rizwan is the Player of the Match. He says there was seam early on and was spinning as well later but they did well to not give away too many wickets. The pitch played differenty maybe because of the dew but is happy with how they batted. Adds they were not expecting it to spin so much. Reckons Iftikhar Ahmed is one of the best finishers and the players are doing their role well.
Shaheen Afridi says they didn't execute the plan well and were not able to grab the chances. It is just start though and not let themselves down. Reckons Ahmed and Shah finished the game really well for Multan Sultans.
...Presentation time...
We said it earlier that Lahore Qalandars were 10-15 runs short but the pitch was slow in nature at that time as well and even Multan Sultans bowled well. Their all the bowlers executed the plans. On the flip side, Lahore Qalandars didn't hold on to the chances. Shaheen Afridi dropped Mohammad Rizwan at a crucial stage. That was the turning point we feel. Lahore Qalandars now have failed to defend a score for the third time in a row while Multan Sultans make it three wins out of three.
Iftikhar Ahmed has played one of the best innings under pressure. What a chase by him! Lahore Qalandars were in the game once they got Rizwan and Willey but Iftikhar Ahmed made a mockery of the run chase by hitting it with one over to spare. Lahore Qalandars can't blame much here, they bowled well throughout but just they were 10-15 runs short in the game.

A loud shout for LBW and up goes the finger. Willey reviews but difficult to see this being overturned. OUT! Willey will feel a little unlucky. The impact and the hitting was umpire's call and he limps his way off the field. A yorker on the pads. Willey misses the flick and gets hit on the boot. Lahore hanging in there. 21 needed in 12.

Poor cricket all around and Iftikhar Ahmed goes and has a chat with David Willey! This is a slower one outside off. He looks to reverse paddle scoop it but misses.

Just the one. Short and down the leg side. This is pulled down towards fine leg. The man runs to his right and keeps it down to one.
